STEP 02
Deliberation
The applied objects operates deliberation of documents through the specialist and you will get the result of notification by 1:1 or email within the date of reception to 7 days.
STEP 03
Arrange for a Valuation and Contract of Consignment

    (A consignor need transport)

    Arrange for a valuation

    Determine the reserve price
    with consignor and contract the document of consignment.
STEP 04
Payment
Once an artwork is sold, the Seoul Auction employee in charge will mail a successful bid notification to both the consignor and the successful bidder. After the successful bidder makes the payment, the artwork is sent to him/her. The consignment commission is also paid at this time.

Commission Fee
10% of the hammer price (18% for items with a reserve price below KRW 1,000,000) Applicable only to consignors who are Korean nationals : Effective from 2013, artworks with a transfer value of KRW 60 million or more are subject to capital gains tax. However, works by Korean artists who are living as of the transfer date are exempt from this tax. For further details, please refer to Article 9 of the Seoul Auction Terms and Conditions.
